After graduating from Guy’s Hospital Medical and Dental School at the University of London in 1975, Shafik Sachedina later became a dental surgeon, and has now been a member of the healthcare industry for more than 4 decades. The equipment that is used in the performance of different roles on the patient’s body by the physicians had been for a long time posing challenges to the doctors. The gadget has to be inserted into the patient’s body for it to be useful in the treatment process. Over the years, the doctors and surgeons have been using the wire guides to insert the devices into the bodies. These have often caused some trouble for the patients especially when they break while inside the patient’s body.
On the other hand, the physicians have been using X-rays to detect the location of the devices in the bodies. These have been quite harmful to the patient’s health when used for a prolonged period.
